For the second time this month, Oliver got to get up from the pool after less than five minute of dipping. The thunder roared and the sky illuminated by lightnings. The thought of being struck by lightning is a scary thought.
Little did we know that after we took this picture, Oliver's screaming of pain from his urinary tract infection tormented everyone who loves him, including the teachers and aunties from Delcare.
Everyday is like a mad rush for us. From fetching Heidi and Oliver to school in the morning to bringing them home, showering them, meeting their demands, washing up their poo and puke, to putting them to bed, and waking up at night... hours and days seem to zoom by and it is mid-March already!
This week has been especially uncomfortable for Oliver, as well as us. Almost 4 days after he first started to feel pain in his penis, he is still squirming and panicky whenever he wants to pee. We aren't too sure whether the anti-biotics is taking effect, or if it is a psychological barrier that Oliver needs to overcome. It is quite painful and worrying to see Oliver in pain.
On a brighter note, Oliver is his usual self when he isn't peeing.
He can now sing a few songs, like Happy Birthday, Row Row Row Your boat, Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars, and his favourite, Rain Rain Go Away.
Oliver can now recognise and articulate more words, and it all seems rather suddenly.
On top of the common animals like dog and cat, his zoological vocab now includes bee, dolphin, giraffe, zebra, elephant, octopus, hippo (aka milk milk as he often lie on his hippo when drinking milk), penguin, teddy bear, lion (aka tong tong chiang, the lion dance tune).
Boon Heng has his hair cut for reservist and he doesn't like it. But most people we saw prefer his current short hairstyle, especially his mom. Looking at the picture, do you think Oliver like his hairstyle?
