Oliver try his hand at calligraphy

At Sophia's cousin annual CNY party, Oliver wrote 春 after some encouragement from us.

Going Solo

Oliver started his solo piano lesson on 7 Jan 2012 after about 1.5 year of group lesson. On hindsight, even though it was frustrating for me at times, mainly because I don't have the patience to coach him, I must say that I am quite proud of him that he has come a long way. He really enjoys the solo class, judging from the first 2 sessions.

Tooth Fairy

Over Christmas, Sophia discovered that Oliver front tooth was shaky. We thought it might drop anytime, but there was no chance for us to sing "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth".
It got really wobbly just before new year. So much so that it could rotate even though it was still attached to the gum.
In the early morning of New Year's Day, Oliver pulled out the tooth himself while half asleep and placed it on Heidi's bed.
