Ciao rice cooker
We bought this 6-cup rice cooker for almost 15 years ago. A simple single function for cooking rice, pasta, soup and more. There is pretty much sentimental value with it as we had brought it with us to our 2 month long trip to France, Switzerland,Italy and to England as well. Boon Heng asked me if I am going to throw it away, now that I bought another one; Oliver seemed shock when he saw the new one and asked the same question, and whether the same fate await the shoe sticker which he pasted. Like father like son.
Of course I am not throwing it away for NOW. :)

Those were the days
So nice to see this picture posted on facebook. My dad used to bring brother and I to eat the beef noodle. So yummy.

Capitol Piazza
It has been quite a long while since we come to the Capital building. I still remember those days where I used to enjoy eating at the Pennsylvania Kitchen, the succulent tenderloin. That's when I fell in love with Tenderloin, and revived my love for beef steak. We also frequent a camping store, camper's corner which is now located at Queen Street. Things just never stay the same in this sunny island.

Picture of baby Oliver at KKH
I went for a post partum check at KKH, and a Counselor interviewed me for signs of post natal blues. I passed with flying colours. When I went into the room, I was pleasantly surprised to see a picture of Oliver when he was one of the babies on the wall. Seeing the photo really perked up my day.
