Since the outbreak of H1N1, the school has disallowed parents to enter the premises when fetching their kids to and from school, except for the infant section.
One good thing to come out from this is that Oliver somehow adapted very quickly to walking into his class on his own without too much fuss. He only took a couple of days where Rose or another teacher had to hold his hand and lead him in.
Now he even carries his own backpack, and on Mondays, has to lug a bigger bag with his blanket. Whereas in the past he might cling on to us, nowadays the sight of him, usually in his half-asleep state, walking gingerly on his own into the school is really cute.
